At the Goldmarket watch clinic our technicians are experts at refurbishing watches.  Refurbishing watches is labour intensive and involves stripping down the case and bracelet of a watch and applying several different polishing techniques with specific mops, dependent on the watch’s finish.  As watch bracelets and cases often have more than one finish, specialist protective tape is hand applied to those surfaces not being worked on at the time.  The process is completed by ultrasonic cleaning before the watch is reassembled.  We also check link screws, lug springs and tighten clasps as part of this service.
